Responsible for management of personnel functions; monitor certificated and classified hiring; compliance officer; complaints and grievances; NCLB; credential certification; evaluation; contract management and negotiations; Health Benefits Committee; new staff orientation; BTSA and PAR.
Certificated and classified hiring and orientation; leaves and resignations; credential monitoring including NCLB compliance and EL Authorization; transcripts; professional growth and salary advancement; certificated and classified seniority lists; reference checking; coordination with BTSA and intern programs; file maintenance.
Employee maintenance and data entry for new employees and for any changes in employment status; district and state reports and surveys; salary schedule maintenance related to negotiated increases; system and district calendar maintenance; coordinates drug testing and fingerprinting
Prepare and distribute current job postings for classified and certificated personnel within the District and to other districts and organizations; interview panels and screening boards; new employee payroll; classified seniority lists.
