Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Director of Facilities, Maintenance & Operations oversees the Facilities Bonds Department and the Maintenance, Operations and Transportation Departments.

The Facilities Bond Department is responsible for managing all contracts, plans, organization activities, budget, communication activities, governmental requirements, housing needs and safety functions of the Bond modernization and construction program.

CHARTER SCHOOL FACILITIES

Consistent with the Novato Unified School District’s obligation under Proposition 39 (approved by California voters in November 2000) and Section 47614 of the Education Code, provide classroom capacity, including furnishings and equipment, for approximately 200 K-12 in-district charter school students at a level comparable to students attending district-run schools, at a site or sites to be determined.
